As trail camera technology has improved, prices have come down. Five years ago, this camera would have been $100+. Now you can get the Primos Proof Cam 6MP for $33.99 on eBay. One thing to note, this camera does not put a time stamp on the picture. The time and date of your photos are tracked by a file on the memory card, so you’ll need to dedicate 1 or 2 cards to each of these cameras. This isn’t the cheapest I’ve ever seen them but it is the best deal online right now and it’s time to get those trail cameras out and observe #VelvetFest
Trail cameras like this one are perfect for public land or areas that you’re not afraid to lose them. Of course, no one wants to have a trail camera stolen but I’d rather replace a $34 trail camera than a $400 cellular camera! They’re easy to set-up and are good enough to get the job done!
