If you are looking to add a couple of places to sit with your wife or kids on your hunting ground this is a cheap easy way to do it. The Ameristep 15′ Double Ladder Stand is on clearance at Walmart for just $65.35. I’ve never seen it sold online that cheap. That’s less expensive than many cheap one-man stands. I have used a couple of these and they are sturdy and easy to put up. They have plastic washers all-around, so they are relatively quiet. They are not exactly comfortable, but there is plenty of room. I’ve never shared it with another guy, but there was enough room to move around with 2 of my daughters and myself. At 15′ high, there is a little more leeway for movement, which is good with multiple people in the tree. I’d recommend this stand in you need somewhere to share a stand for morning sits as an alternative to a blind on a food plot. They are available in some stores, IF they are in stock.
