Initial Thoughts on the Scent Crusher Covert Closet
After the initial assembly of the Scent Crusher Covert Closet, I thought about sending it back. The techno-lite fabric felt cheap but after hanging a few hunting garments inside and turning on the Halo Gen 3 ozone generator, the techno-lite fabric ballooned up, allowing ozone to circulate around each garment. The ozone was completely contained inside of the Covert Closet.
Knowing that ozone molecules must make direct contact with the entire garment (360 degrees) in order for the ozone to effectively kill the odor on the garment. I quickly realized that Scent Crusher wasn’t being “cheap” with this lightweight fabric, they had done their homework and I had a product that I could trust to kill odor, but would it last?
Assembly of the Covert Closet from Scent Crusher
Construction of the Scent Crusher Covert Closet is really simple. In reality, I don’t need to bother giving you directions because you simply unzip the bag and put a couple of rods together to frame up the closet portion of the system. It can be done in a minute or two, which is great when you’re traveling. Especially when you’re in a hurry to unload your gear and head to the woods but not before giving your clothing and gear an ozone bath!
How much gear will fit in the Scent Crusher Covert Closet?
I am really impressed with the amount of hunting gear that fits in this thing when traveling. I’m the guy that packs enough clothing and gear to get me through a month of hunting, even if I’m only going on a one-week trip, so this really helped me stay organized when traveling. Here’s a breakdown of every single item that I can pack into the Scent Crusher Covert Closet when utilizing it like a suitcase. For the record, I’m only 5’9″, so most of my clothing is size medium or large. Now, if I’m using the Covert Closet as an odor-killing closet, I drastically reduce the amount of gear inside it to ensure the ozone can do its job.

Halo Series Ozone Generator
The Covert Closet also comes with a “3rd generation” Halo series Ozone generator. The generator is wireless and has a rechargeable battery with AC and DC charging cables. One for home and the truck. The rechargeable Halo Series Ozone Generator is capable of running on 4+ hours on a single charge and has the ability to remove most odors within 30 minutes. You can use this ozone generator in multiple scenarios, not just with the Scent Crusher Covert Closet. Heck, I even use it around the house to get rid of unwanted bathroom and kitchen odors!

Scent Crusher Covert Closet Review Summary
The Covert Closet was purposely built and designed by someone who knew what the traveling hunter needed. The Covert Closet allows me to store a bunch of the clothing and gear I need when traveling and I can even fly with it because it’s TSA approved!
So far, I am impressed with the Covert Closet from Scent Crusher. The price tag is a little hard to swallow for most people but when you realize you’re getting a fully functional suitcase and a scent-crushing, odor-killing mobile closet, all-in-one, it makes the investment to manage.
