This is the first holster that I’ve found pleasant to wear, yet readily accessible if I ever need it. Plus, I don’t have to worry about my gun falling out when I’m on the move.
Personal Take on the 1791 Gunleather Smooth Concealment Holster
In years past, I’ve utilized cheaper gun holsters, both inside the waistband and outside the waistband. Always being disappointed and never satisfied, until I started carrying this holster. I like being able to keep my firearm concealed, by hiding it inside my waistband and throwing my shirt over my waist, making it virtually invisible.
I wear this holster inside the waistband on my right side. It’s extremely comfortable next to the skin, thanks to the smooth flap of leather that separates the gun from my skin. Also, the open top allows for quick and easy access in case I need to draw my firearm in an emergency situation. You can wear the holster with a belt or without one. However, I found that the lightweight shorts that I wear in the summer without a belt stretch a little too much and it’s not as pleasant of an experience as the weight of the gun pulls my shorts down.
The trigger guard is protected to ensure the gun cannot be accidentally fired by hitting the trigger on something. The break-in period wasn’t a big deal but even after fitting the gun to holster, it’s not as tight as a Kydex or custom-fitted gun holster. However, if I wanted an uncomfortable Kydex holster, that’s what I would. have ordered. If worn properly with a belt, you can be active without fear of the gun falling out.
I threw my old Sticky Holster away and will never look back!

In years past, I’d buy a holster out of necessity and it would eventually get lost in the shuffle of life and I’d never miss it. However, the 1791 Gunleather Smooth Concealment Holster is on my side by choice, not necessity.
The 1791 Gunleather Smooth Concealment Holster is extremely comfortable when worn inside the waistband and it’s easy to forget it’s there. The leather is soft and provides a comfortable layer of protection between your skin and your gun. I like how large the leather is that separates you from the gun. This prevents rubbing and discomfort when walking or sitting. So, should you buy one? Absolutely! It’s my personal favorite holster at this time and would like to invest in a few more for my other handguns in the future.
