The Arctic Pro boots and the whole Arctic line are the coldest rated boots that Muck Boot Company makes. These ones are rated to -60°F. Few hunters on planet Earth will ever encounter temperatures that cold!
These things are outstanding, sporting 8mm neoprene with fleece lining and extra thermal foam added under the foot bed. They are windproof, waterproof, and comfortable. And they have good rigidity on the sides and at the top, which keeps things from getting inside. I usually tuck my pants into the boots to keep them dry, and there is plenty of room to do so. But when I wear my heavy bibs, I can still fit those over the boots. So they work both ways.

Muck Arctic Pro Boots Review | Performance
I have been using these for three seasons now, in all kinds of crazy conditions from deer hunting to duck hunting to every other frigid outdoor activity I could come up with. And they always perform admirably. Watch my video review below to see them up close.
They are an outstanding barrier against the elements. I regularly walk through mud, streams, creeks, and water that comes right up to the brim and they have never leaked a drop after 3 seasons now. You can’t ask for more than that.
I will say that at first, they were only marginally comfortable. But the more I wore them, the more they seemed to conform to my foot until they were so comfy I found myself hiking for miles in them.
Now what few people will admit is that no matter what any boot is made out of, if you sit motionless in frigid conditions long enough, your feet will still get cold. It’s just the way things work. These boots are great in that they have plenty of space to toss in some boot warmers and help you power through all-day sits in the coldest conditions.
A curious thing is that the boots are 100% air and water tight, yet somehow they seem to breathe. My feet do not tend to get damp from sweat, even after hiking all day in them. Supposedly the lining right around the top ring of the boot wicks moisture away to evaporate it out. I don’t know that I buy that, but however it happens, my feet are indeed usually dry.

Muck Arctic Pro Boots Review | Potential Improvements
The boot is a little bulky, and so you know you are wearing a super cold-weather boot. I can drive in them (even a stick shift), but I prefer not to do so over any distance. It’s too easy to mash too many pedals.
And I have to admit that the camouflage coloring on the toe portion starts to wear off when you trek through brush (photo included). I really hoped they would do better, but the reviews I read prepared me for that. I don’t think it makes any functional difference for hunting, and they do make boots in the Arctic line that have black rubber for the toe instead of camo if that concerns you.

Muck Arctic Pro Boots Review Summary
In short, these boots do everything I wanted them to do. They are super fast and easy to put on and take off. They are comfortable, durable, and keep my feet warm.
That said, these are not work boots and they are not hiking boots. They do not have the durability for labor-intensive outdoor work 300 days a year, and they are too bulky and heavy to try and hike the Appalachian Trail in. But that is not what they are designed for. They are great arctic hunting boots. And they do that job well, exceptionally well.
But they are not cheap, and definitely not a first-season purchase. After being frigid cold year after year, I decided to invest in some quality boots and all my research led me to these as a top finalist. I got mine on sale, greatly discounted from the steep retail price, and you can too if you watch for the sales.
