It’s heat-treated to keep the down from migrating through the fabric, eliminating the need for noisy down-proof coatings. The fabric is also treated with TORAY K-DWR to repel light rain and snow. The positioning of the front pockets is above the belt line, offering accessibility while wearing a pack. The jacket compresses and self-stows inside the left zippered pocket for compact storage.
